The EFMD Career Services Conference took place on November 14-16th hosted by the University of Gothenburg, School of Business, Economics and Law, where leading practitioners met to share best practices through seminars and workshops focused on co-creation and innovation within career services.

Amber Wigmore-Alvarez, CIO of Highered, and Kendall Brown, Career Services Manager, met with over 100  EFMD career service professionals from 20 countries to present global insight on recruitment trends and student engagement. Increasingly, recruiters are looking for ways to engage creatively–often involving strategic employer branding efforts– to reach outside their traditional talent pools. How career services track and respond to these trends require an innovative and creative mindset that EFMD and Highered can help foster.

In addition to global insights, the Highered team also revealed new platform features and tech developments for 2019. For those career service professionals that were unable to attend the conference, Highered will host a webinar in January discussing the new changes and what to expect in Year 2019. Date and registration information will be posted soon.
